36 days of motion type
"36 Days of Type is a project that invites designers, illustrators and visual artists to express their unique interpretation of the letters and numbers of the Latin alphabet. A yearly open call that explores the creative boundaries of letterforms by challenging participants to design a letter or number each day for 36 consecutive days."
Personal project made in the goal to tackle my skills in After Effects. Before I start animating, I set on a few rules : (1) Not all of the colors had to be present in the animation, (2) Texture had to be present, (3) Never repeat an idea. (4) Loop (if possible).

All of the letters were drawn first before being animated in Photoshop, After Effects or Procreate.
At one point in the process, I started to feel the limit of my motion skills, and I had to go further into researches to be able to render interesting results. Some letters took 2 hours, some a few days.
