Kinetic Type

I had the pleasure to create some animated type (kinetic type) for Adobe Live France ! In 45 minutes (a Crash Course) I explained my process and share a few tips about working with type.

First step was to play with CC Power Pin in After Effects. Second step was to show the power of Mesh Warp; this is an After Effects preset that allows you to strechted the type directly without creating a shape layer first. I paired it with a CC RepeTile to get an endless Bonjour. Third and last step was to create an offset type appearing, strechting and disappearing using only the paths in a shape layer.
